Mik's Bday Party

So today we had Mik's party, and wouldn't you know it but the only day that it rains all month is today. We had a pool party and 15 minutes in teh pool we had to get out because of the rain, thunder and lightening. We then had 7 little boys crammed into our apt. They had a good time though.

I got IN!!!

So today I got the official word and I am officially accepted into the Master's Degree program that I wanted. 4 more years and I will be Dr. Sands. I can hardly wait.

Job Interview

I have a job interview on Thursday with the High School up the street. It is for an Italian/Spanish teacher. I am so excited and yet nervous. This is my dream job.

Nothing of interest

Well there has been nothing new going on here. The boys are busy playing with their friends, swimming, and getting on my last nerve as there have been days when the wind has been so bad that they have been cooped up in our apt. I do have to say that they older they get the smaller our apt gets.

I have been busy working on the novel that I have finally decided to finish. I am also waiting to here if I got into the masters program that I want. I am applying to a couple of different schools to be a teacher.

Mike has been applying with The Bureau of Prisons all over the country, as well as with the US Marshalls. He is putting in for a promotion at the jail also.

Little Mik is becoming a mini Mike, he is becoming very intreverted. He has decided that he wants to beat guitar hero and has made some great strides.

Mat is so tall, he has hit 4' and has out grown all the clothes I had bought last year that should have been for this summer also, but no, he has 3 pair of shorts that still fit him. Oh well I'm sure that it won't he the last time.

Stupid applications

I am so sick of filling out applications, between the one for grad school, the one for the licensure program, and the one for the school district. All of this so that I can teach. UGH will it never end.

Stupid Goal Statement

I have been working on this stupid goal statement to go with application for my grad school. I can't believe how hard it is. I have to turn it in tomorrow so it is a little stressful. Ugh I had better get back to it.
