Mat Update

So we saw the surgeon yesterday and he wants to wait 1-2 more years before he does the surgery. Mat will definitely have to have that, he just wants to wait until he is older before he does it.

We're home :)

So we got home this morning at around 2:30 from Vegas. We were there for 10 days so that Mike could help his parents remodel their bathroom. Let me tell you that was a fun experience. I will post the pictures later on today, I don't have the finished bathroom pictures because well when we left yesterday the bathroom still wasn't done.

While we were there Mike and I went and saw the Cirque de Soleil show Zumanity and loved it. It is a little risque but good. Ialso danced on the bar at Coyote Ugly. I maybe 30 something but I still got it.

Well now that we have returned life is back to normal the boys went to school today. I have classes tomorrow and Mike is back to work tonight. It's good to be home.

I am a closet gamer!!!

So I am coming out of the closet I am a gamer!!! Yes I have finally admitted it...Why am I saying it now well we were given an xbox for christmas and a couple of games...I haven't read a book since we got it..
Also as I have already posted about the monopoly game I have bankrupted everybody that I have played against....

For those that remember playing against me and why I was banned from ever playing again the monster has been loosed...

Newest addition

We have a new family member..His name is Finn and he is a 8 week old kitten..the boys love him, Storm however would be grateful if he went away and never came back..He is definetly more playful than Storm is..The boys love him in fact I think that they may just mall him as it has been awhile since we have had a pet that lets them touch her..

Oh Sweet Revenge!!!!

For Christmas we got Transformers Monopoly and we played it last week well Mike talked Mik out of having Park Place so that he could have a Monopoly and he won and by a land slide...Well tonight for FHE we played again and without cheating I beat the pants off of everybody and I started out the night with crap...oh the sweet revenge...

Happy New Year

Can you believe that it is 2008?! I never realized how fast time flew until I became a parent. It feels like only yesterday that we brought the boys home and they will be 8 this year.

So last night we ushered in teh New Year with a party at one of the officers from the jail's house and it was one of the funniest nights I have had in a long time. At first I thought at I would be out of place as I thought that Mike and I would be the only ones not drinking, however this turned out to be a false assumption as there were others not drinking as they were the designated drivers..All I can say is that after meeting the guys from Mike's shift last night and seeing them all interact I trust them all with his life and I know that each and everyone of them has eaxh other's backs no matter what..

Okay now onto new years resolutions, I have made three this year in the hopes of coming closer to my Heavenly Father and becoming a better wife and mother..
1- become spiritually fit
2- become physically fit
3- become financially fit

to coin a phrase from Oprah last year this is the year. So we'll see how it goes...

well enough of my ramblings today...I hope that 2008 is an awesome year for all of us..
