Sneak Peak

So our favorite photographer that we were very sad to leave behind in Albuquerque had a convention here in Vegas last month and so we had a session on the strip. We had a great time, trying to beat the rain, we thought it was a little ironic that two years in a row it has rained on our sessions. During the session I left my purse at the Bellagio and then lost the boys when they went to try and find the missing purse, we found both really quickly. Over all though I have to say that we had an awesome session, even if I have only seen two pictures, one where I think my face is huge, and one that is probably one of the best pictures of the boys that has ever been taken.

We're in Vegas

So Mike and I got to Vegas early Friday morning. We didn't do much, I went out with Melanie and had lunch. Friday night all the boys went and saw Dark Knight, as it was my birthday I didn't want to see it, Melanie, Mom and I went and saw Mama Mia. One of the best movies I have ever seen.

Last night we had a b-day party for me and the boys at my sister Kim's house. The kids all had fun, as did the adults. It was great to be together. I'll post pics later of the party.

The Boys are Gone

So it has been a week since they boys have left. It has been a very unproductive week for Mike and I. I have done schoolwork, Mike has worked. We did have a little of bit of excitment this week when Mike was offered a job with the Beauru of Prison's in Hawaii. He put in for Hawaii as a lark, we never thought that we would have to have the discussion of whether or not to take the job. After weighing the pros and cons we decided to turn down the job. We are hoping for the mid-west or Colorado.

Mike and I are going to Vegas this week to pick up the boys. We will be there for a week.

We're home :)

So we got home this morning at around 2:30 from Vegas. We were there for 10 days so that Mike could help his parents remodel their bathroom. Let me tell you that was a fun experience. I will post the pictures later on today, I don't have the finished bathroom pictures because well when we left yesterday the bathroom still wasn't done.

While we were there Mike and I went and saw the Cirque de Soleil show Zumanity and loved it. It is a little risque but good. Ialso danced on the bar at Coyote Ugly. I maybe 30 something but I still got it.

Well now that we have returned life is back to normal the boys went to school today. I have classes tomorrow and Mike is back to work tonight. It's good to be home.
